About FleetMesh

Independent by design.

FleetMesh is an independent technical initiative exploring open standards, interoperability and engineering patterns for autonomous fleets.

What is here today

FleetMesh publishes introductory engineering resources: a VDA 5050 guide, standards scope notes, orchestration questions, a conceptual architecture and a primary-source library. The focus is understanding interfaces and their limits before making claims about compatibility.

This is a technical resource, not a commercial fleet-control product. The diagrams describe subjects being explored, not deployed FleetMesh infrastructure.

Independence and attribution

FleetMesh is not affiliated with VDA, VDMA, MassRobotics or individual robot manufacturers. References to their names, standards and documents identify the source material; they do not imply partnership, endorsement or certification.

How the material is written

  • Primary sources first. Technical explanations link to official publications or repositories.
  • Versions are explicit. The VDA 5050 guide identifies the release it covers and the date its sources were checked.
  • Commentary is labeled. Engineering recommendations and hypothetical scenarios are distinguished from specification requirements.
  • Evidence sets the limit. A guide or diagram is not a test result, a deployment claim or proof of compatibility.

Reading and privacy

The site has no accounts, contact forms, advertising trackers or analytics scripts. The web server keeps ordinary access and error logs for operation. Reading a guide does not submit a project, reserve a product or join a mailing list.
